South Korea, Busan, Haeundae Beach 해운대해수욕장

Busan is famous for its beautiful beach (Haeundae Beach), raw fish and fish market (Jagalchi Fish Market) offering fresh seafood.  It’s the 2nd largest city in Korea and is also the principle port of the country for international cargo and ferries to Japan and Jeju Island.  1st trip to Busan was 3 years back, the city was laid back and far less crowded than Seoul.  This can be easily felt when you arrived directly from Seoul. Recent trip to Busan, the city has evolved and felt like Seoul minus the crowd. The warmth and friendliness of the people remain unchanged.

Anyone going to Busan will never want to miss out the most popular beach in S.Korea, Haeundae Beach.

Haeundae Beach, Haeundae Station (Line 2), Exit 3

It is quite a bit of walk from the station to the beach.  Just follow the crowd and the smell of the sea.  It is the most popular destination for tourists and even the locals.  In summer, the beach is packed with beach goer and famous summer concerts.  In winter the beach becomes serene, is completely the opposite of summer…

was here during winter.. the summer crowd was gone.. but cafes are crowded with beach goer enjoying a cuppa,  enjoying the nice winter, people watch and slowly let the days go by .. therapeutic …packed some food to feed the birds .. they will love you …

simply love the smell of the sea and the sound of the wave ….
